To new beginnings

“Live a life of inspiration, and of passion. Anything else is eating away at time, and dying a slow painful death, rather than living. Toiling and laboring for nothing but bread and futility. Man cannot live on bread alone. There is a purpose, a time and a season, and a God that oversees it all.” – Amanda Batten

“Make each day a masterpiece, we do not remember the days, we remember moments.”

Laughing with family and friends until it hurts, odd moments that are perfect because they are not, and will live forever in stories. We may already be into the New Year, but it’s never too late for new beginnings.

“Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.” – Maria Robinson

Everyone has a story; each page is a blank gift, and a new opportunity. Many walk through life as if we are forced to just, “get by,” then die. We all have a divine purpose; and until we learn what that is, we will never truly experience the joy that God has set out for us. Life is not without its trouble, but we can be certain that in God, we can live the life we dream of. The vision that God has sewn into each of our hearts from the very beginning. It’s there, but sometimes we get so distracted by our daily lives, we forget there is a divine purpose in it all.

God came that we might live our lives to the fullest (John 10:10) We aren’t meant to just, “Get By.” At the same time we are to fulfill our purpose in Him. Without a purpose we have no need to move forward….Without vision we would perish. (Proverbs 29:18)

“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” – Romans 8:28

This new year, take a moment to believe for the future, and make goals to be healthy and happy. Slow down and be thankful for what you have and live in the moment…

Each day we spend working and toiling, things we must do to live; however, don’t forget that quiet time to sit with God and say, “Hey, I’m alive, I have breath, my needs are fulfilled and I can want for nothing (Psalm 23) because if left in Jesus hands, He will take care of it. So I leave it with him and sit and watch on the mountain while my story unfolds.

“Joy is the serious business of Heaven.” ~ C. S. Lewis
