Let there be life

“Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.” – Ecclesiastes 3:11

The bible says that God created the entire world in seven days, simply by speaking it into existence. This shows us there is a great power in God’s word. Our words have the ability to speak life or death. (Proverbs 18:21) Ever notice how a simple encouragement can cause someone to move forward in victory and take steps to better their life.

“I can live for two months on a good compliment.” – Mark Twain

Sometimes we say things we don’t mean and they cause negative consequences also. Song writers create music to inspire, but sometimes they are written out of depressed states, and generally cause that same effect in others. If a person is negative all the time, that can rub off easily on others and affect your whole day. A person, who is called stupid for most of their life, will eventually believe that to be true. They will not see that they are fearfully and wonderfully made and their spirit dies, which negatively affects their physical man as well. (Psalm 139:14) We need the spirit of God and his word to speak into our lives to save us.

“The Spirit alone gives eternal life. Human effort accomplishes nothing. And the very words I have spoken to you are spirit and life.” – John 6:63

God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. (Genesis 1:3) All God had to do was tell the sun to shine and it did. Evolutionists continually fight to prove that the moon created itself. The moon’s main purpose is to light up the night. It has many other purposes such as controlling the tides and keeping currents running, so it stops the ocean from stagnating. There is a purpose and a time for everything under the sun including us. We as human beings are such unique creations, and although doctors have studied and studied there is no way to completely explain everything. There was a greater mind behind all of it. There was a light in the darkness, and that was God.

“Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing had happened.” -Winston Churchill

There are miracles all around us; however, there are still miracles to be had. And it all can begin with a simple word. We also have power in our words. We may not be able to create a whole universe; however, we have the same unique power to use our words, to create beautiful things. We will never see the complete scope of Gods work; however, his plan for us is a beautiful one. So go ahead and speak life.
