    “Be still, and know that I am God” – Psalm 46:10  I often work with people that are afflicted with Alzheimer’s or a form of dementia; one which strips away most of what makes you, you.  Your thoughts, your dreams, and your personality are all affected in some way.  Activities of daily living become increasingly difficult, so everything you do relies on someone else’s watch; someone else’s ability. Alzheimer’s is such a tragedy, but we can learn something from it.  It really causes you to think of what you value most in life, when you realize what little control you have over it.     Love Lifts Me Higher

    “Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah” (Psalm 32:7) I’ve been writing a lot about heights, mountains, towers and high places lately. Perhaps God is trying to get me to see things from a different perspective.
